A Night to Remember: A Multi-generational Family Book Signing, Photo Exhibit and Presentations

Mark your calendars and tell your family and friends in the tri‐state area about an event to remember!  In recognition of the individual and collective transformations taking place in 2015, the Mapp and Embry family of Kentucky and Tennessee co‐hosting with Chef Martha Stamps A Night to Remember: A Multi-generational Family Book Signing, Photo Exhibit and Presentations  during A Place at the Table  on Wednesday, 17 June 2015 in Nashville, TN.

The evening began at 6 PM with a delicious dinner (see cost below) prepared by Chef Martha Stamps and her staff.  Brothers Irucka Ajani and Obiora Embry and their mother, Dr. Deborah Mapp‐Embry, their aunt, Ivy (Mapp) Barksdale; their father Jim Embry; and their grandfather, James R. Mapp read from and/or signed their books.  And Jim will share his experiences and photographs from Slow Food’s 2014 Terra Madre.

Although the book signing was free and open to the public, the dinner was $12 for adults and $6 for children under 10.
